Job Description

Company: Our client is a prominent ‘blue chip’ distributor of premium and specialist ingredients serving the pharmaceutical, food, and animal nutrition sectors across the UK and Ireland. With a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction, they have been a key player in the market since 1981. Opportunity: To manage the sales of Human Nutrition products through effective commercial account management and the development of new business across the island of Ireland. This includes expanding the customer base for designated Human Nutrition applications and managing and developing business relationships with principals. Responsibilities: * Manage existing sales and develop new business pipelines. * Maintain and strengthen principal business relationships. * Oversee and deliver the annual sales budget. * Handle pricing and ensure gross margin contribution. * Update and manage CRM database with key details on customer visits, contacts, and project pipelines. * Provide market intelligence to support our client's sales and marketing activities. Candidate Requirements: * Third level Science qualification in food science or related area. * A minimum of 3 years sales development and customer relationship building experience. * Previous experience in sales prospecting, securing appointments, and conducting sales visits * Key Account management experience would be highly desirable. * Providing technical support and resolving customer complaints * Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, industry consultants and state agencies. * Monthly sales activity reporting and maintaining up to date records on the CRM system. * Planning product promotional campaigns and developing pricing strategies Remuneration: Salary and overall package competitive, and the finer details will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
