A leading Irish Chemical manufacturer seeks an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth and lead a team in Cork.
The Sales Manager will provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team, driving sales growth through effective management and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide daily coaching, mentorship, and training to the sales team.
- Conduct performance reviews, set clear goals, and address team strengths and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop long-term strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Coach on building strong customer relationships and track CRM activity.
- Monitor sales metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Foster a collaborative team culture and coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other departments.
Requirements:
- Level 8 or 9 Science, Chemical or Food Science qualification (advantageous but not necessary).
- Previous Sales Manager experience with a coaching/people management background.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for sales and achieving results.
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing market conditions.
- Full clean Driver's License required.
