**Sales Manager Role Summary** High-achieving Sales Manager required to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and driving sales growth in the Hyundai dealership in Galway. **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Hyundai, Galway. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-achieving Sales department, ensuring the team delivers the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers. **Key Responsibilities:** * Follow the Connolly Sales Process to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities * Strategically set objectives and review sales and performance reviews to identify future trends * Formulate and communicate sales targets to each executive * Monitor departmental performance against the budget * Devise and agree sales schedules for the sales team to generate business on a daily/weekly/monthly basis * Constantly review and manage dealership costs * Oversee sales by ensuring prospecting and follow-up activities are conducted by the Sales Team * Coach the team on qualifying customer needs and presenting the dealership's products and services * Ensure stock turn on new and used cars is adhered to, by reviewing and revaluing used cars as necessary * Plan and implement marketing strategies with the marketing department * Assist HR with employment relations, recruitment, and people agenda queries * Monitor the performance of the sales team, using key measures and addressing areas of underperformance * Conduct regular meetings and updates on any changes with the team * Understand and comply with all appropriate sales legislation and procedures relevant to dealership departments * Maintain a high level of contact with internal and external customers, suppliers, and manufacturer * Identify and resolve dissatisfied customers' issues in a professional and empathetic manner * Ensure vehicle valuations to customers are accurate as provided by the sales team * Maintain up-to-date knowledge about manufacturers' vehicles, market trends, and their impact * Ensure adequate resourcing of the sales department is adequately staffed to achieve departmental objectives * Comply and operate within Connolly Group Trade Disposal Process **Requirements:** * Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Sales environment, Motor industry is essential * 3 years' People Management experience is beneficial * Strong communication skills with internal and external customers, suppliers, and the manufacturer * Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Email) * Build strong interdepartmental relationships, and pay close attention to the requirements of those departments * Present a consistently professional image through attitude, behavior, and personal appearance * Continuous improvement mindset * Full driving license is essential
