Sales Management position Well-Established Construction Manufacturer Increasingly strong market share - €20M+ Organisation THE COMPANY: Our client is a market leading manufacturer, selling building products to the construction, automotive, DIY and Hardware sectors in Ireland. As they continue to grow both here and abroad they now require a Sales Manager to further develop the team in Ireland. They have a strong name in the market as it is, but ideally looking for someone to come on board and help them achieve their ambitious growth plans over the next number of years. THE ROLE: As the successful Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of 9 across the island of Ireland. The majority of the team is experienced within the industry, however, some of the newer recruits will need some mentoring and training. You will lead the sales team, focusing on targets, and revenue generation, and be responsible for their coaching and development. You will report directly to the MD in Ireland. The product range is sold in builder's merchants, and through the specification process. You will be office based Monday - Friday, there is no WFH in this role for the first year. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak with senior sales managers with knowledge of the construction sector. Management experience is essential. You will be strategic, a natural leader, good with budgets and forecasting, driven, and have a passion for sales. You will be comfortable managing both internal and external sales team, expecting to spend a portion of your week on the road, supporting the team in client meetings, training and any escalated issues. THE PACKAGE: Basic Salary: €70,000 - €85,000 DOE Bonus - performance-related (TBC) Fully expensed company car or allowance Laptop, Mobile 22 Days Holidays Pension LOCATION: Commutable to Kidare.
