Job Description
Seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to oversee day-to-day activities for Talbot Hotel Wexford, Talbot Suites at Stonebridge, and Newbay House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advertising and promotional plans to increase market penetration and sales.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to drive new clients and prospects.
- Build relationships with clients, agencies, and staff to increase revenue and brand awareness.
- Manage and sustain online presence through digital marketing and website updates.
Role Specific Duties:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the Talbot Collection, Wexford.
- Profile and drive new clients and prospects for the Talbot Collection, Wexford.
- Achieve a high profile for yourself and the brand in the marketplace.
- Liaise closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager & Area General Manager regarding all sales activities.
Sales and Business Development:
- Increase overall sales through penetration of the corporate marketplace and booking agents.
- Responsibility for achieving sales turnover on annual budget figures.
- Work closely with operating departments to maximise service opportunities and increase revenues.
- Manage the completion of all RFPs / FIT/Tour Series contracts solicitations.
Marketing Execution:
- Liaise with Area Sales & Marketing Manager on Marketing Material for Corporate Sales Activity.
- Manage and sustain all internet/GDS activity competently.
- Monitor the market and complete a competitor's analysis frequently.
Digital Marketing:
- Work closely with the Area Sales & Marketing Manager to manage the update all corporate content of websites.
- Support the Area Sales & Marketing Manager for all digital marketing ensuring an effective and positive online presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Be highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and achieve results.
