Job Description
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Sales & Marketing activities of the Talbot Hotel Wexford and its affiliates. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an effective advertising and promotional plan for the Talbot Collection Wexford, ensuring cost-effectiveness and market penetration.
- Plan and implement sales strategies for the Talbot Collection, prioritizing new client acquisition and market growth.
- Achieve a high profile for the brand through regular client meetings and entertainment at the properties.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Area General Manager to ensure alignment on sales activities and strategies.
- Increase overall sales through the corporate marketplace and booking agents, ensuring annual budget targets are met.
- Work closely with operating departments and other properties to maximize service opportunities and increase revenues.
- Manage RFPs, FIT/Tour Series contracts, and other solicitations to ensure accurate completion and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain brochure stock for the Sales Department, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Develop and expand the food and beverage business of the hotel, focusing on bar/restaurant sales and conference/banqueting.
- Establish and maintain amicable business relationships with clients, agencies, and staff.
- Collaborate with the Area Sales & Marketing Manager on marketing materials and corporate sales activities.
- Manage and sustain all internet/GDS activity, monitoring the market and competitor analysis.
- Work with the Area Sales & Marketing Manager to update corporate content on the website, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the Area Sales & Marketing Manager in digital marketing efforts, ensuring a positive online presence.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve results.
