Sales and Events Executive - Absolute Hotel Limerick The Absolute Hotel has a very exciting and new opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Executive within the Hotel. Role Objective: The Absolute Hotel is recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Executive to produce and promote sales and events from conception through to completion. The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for the assistance of maximizing the sales potential and achieving the events and sales targets of the hotel. Key roles & responsibilities: · Marketing Plan - design and implement online and off line marketing initiatives and activities to support each hotel revenue objectives in the following areas, accommodation, meetings & events, weddings, restaurant and bars · Develop, control and maintain the hotel website in line with brand standards and initiate new strategies to grow revenue and brand awareness. Responsible for liaising with account manager for website and communicating initiatives, aware of budgets set for digital spend and ensuring ROI is achieved · Manage all online and e-commerce marketing activities including social media. · Manage all offline marketing activities – Devise and execute sales & marketing promotional campaigns through local & national media, evaluating & reporting on marketing campaigns ROI. · Overseeing, managing and developing the hotel brand through advertising, signage, print, graphics etc... ensuring that all in-house merchandising is appropriately targeted to the relevant audiences. · Develop and execute the food & beverage calendar of events and all associated sales and marketing activities. Aware of quiet periods and reacting accordingly · Help with hosting of client and corporate events as the business may require from time to time. · Complete monthly reports for sales and revenue meetings and for quarter sales review. · Identify with Sales Manager potential deficiencies or deviations from revenues and demonstrate proactive activity/plans to address · Proactively target new business through telesales, e-zine and direct mails · Management of annual marketing budget. · Executive quarterly activity plans to create focus for the team and adapt activity to support business needs. · Develop printed promotional material including brochures, fliers, special offers, posters, tent cards etc. in line with brand standards. · Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis; monitoring their performance, rates and sales activity. We are looking for someone who is flexible, dedicated, and hardworking with the capability of carrying out all duties to a consistently high standard. The ideal candidate will possess: Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role. Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Standards driven and detail orientated. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise activities on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
