Job Description

Sales Order Administrator / Customer Services Our client is based 20 minutes West of Cork City. A key vacancy has just opened up within their finance and administration team. The Sales Order Processing Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth handling of customer orders from receipt to dispatch, maintaining communication with clients and internal departments, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processing. The role involves managing high volumes of data entry, coordinating with production teams, and resolving order-related queries in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Duties: Setting up customers and suppliers on the internal system. Setting up new products, calculating cardboard required etc. Purchasing: ensuring availability of raw materials. Managing customer sales orders. Checking for depleted stocks. Placing POs as and when required. Processing works orders and producing pallet labels. Printing all delivery dockets and invoices, generating C of Cs Maintain customer portals to cover all updates. Liaising with transport to organise on time deliveries. Organising outside transport/couriers Answering telephone / General Admin, filing etc. Recording timber receipt and usage (ISPM15) Entering stock levels and investigating anomalies. Ensuring pricing is correct for all entries. Key Criteria: Excellent numeracy skills. Great attention to detail. Proficiency in Office 365. Ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, positive attitude towards work. An ability to prioritise own workload.
