Do you have expertise in Beauty Services and management, with experience driving a business forward, implementing sales strategies, and increasing standards of customer service? Our Nails are recruiting an experienced Salon Service Manager who has at least 2 years of experience in enhancing customer service standards, with a strong emphasis on sales development and staff management. Applicants must be flexible to work evenings and weekends. The main purpose of this role is to manage the daily activities and provide the highest level of customer service while maximizing sales and profitability of two locations in Dundrum shopping centre.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, committed, and dedicated to driving a business forward, with experience in a fast-paced retail environment, providing nail treatment services, and being an expert in all kinds of nail services to evaluate staff work and provide additional support and training.

Primary Duties

  • Ensure daily/weekly sales targets are set and achieved.
  • Devise strategies for growth in sales in salons.
  • Monitor and assess performance and propose actions to rectify problem areas.
  • Monitor competitors on a regular basis.
  • Ensure 5* customer service is delivered at all times to provide an amazing customer experience.
  • Ensure employees provide excellent customer service and handle queries and complaints with professionalism.
  • Coach staff on managing customer complaints and offering friendly and courteous service in all branches and on the telephone.
  • Create awareness of additional services and ensure they are offered to customers.
  • Recognize and compliment examples of service excellence.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of staff.
  • Ensure staff are adequately trained in service quality, product knowledge, and familiar with store systems.
  • Conduct staff appraisals and recommend programs to address difficulties.
  • Ensure disciplinary procedures are enacted where appropriate.
  • Provide a forum for staff to discuss issues and problems relating to the store.
  • Ensure staff cost ratio is in line with company budget.
  • Review weekly rosters for staff, making adjustments where necessary to keep within the staff cost budgets.
  • Ensure staff are groomed appropriately for business each day.
  • Observe all company policies and procedures.
  • Recognize and coach good performers with positive reinforcement for continued performance and coach poor performers outlining expected levels of performance and behavior.
  • Conduct performance reviews both formal and informal.
  • Consult with head office regarding stock holding and ensure all stores have the stock required to carry out all services.
  • Organize and prepare stocktaking in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with any other duties required by senior management.
  • Represent the Company's interests in all internal and external interactions.
  • Observe confidentiality in respect of Company activities.
