An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scheme Project Manager based in Cork. The Scheme Project Manager will assist the Project Manager to deliver projects of all appropriate sizes and complexities. Role: The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager or Lead Project Manager by managing the project programme and resources to deliver planned works within budget, safely and within set timescales. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support Project Manager or Lead Project Manager by managing and delivering significant elements of contracted works in line with both client and internal requirements. Produce accurate reports and ensure feedback to Project Team and company supply chain management Ensure delegated areas of the contract are completed in line with company standards and policies Maintain supplier relations in line with Alstom Supply Chain Management Policy Support the Project Manager with the input of Project risks in line with the Alstom Risk Management SystemEssential Requirements: Understanding of scheduling, planning and programming details Experience working for a main contractor, consultant or client organisation in railway systems environment Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, including CDM 2015 Regulations Personal Track Safety (PTS) Certification equivalent Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerpointDesirable: Membership to a related professional body Staff management and leadership skills Hold or working towards a recognised professional qualification in Project ManagementFor further information on this fantastic opportunity contact Louise Oldham at Advance TRS Advance TRS are RPO partners for Alstom's permanent staff recruitment drive of rail signalling management, engineering and installation professionals in York, Derby, Birmingham, London, and Bristol, as part of CP7.
