Part-time After-school Educator Vacancy
We are seeking an enthusiastic after-school educator to work with children, families, and colleagues in our after-school service in Watergrasshill Community Hall.
This is a temporary one-year position to cover a member of staff on maternity leave, starting in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management team in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and agencies.
- Work in partnership with parents to provide a high-quality service.
- Plan and implement activities that children will enjoy.
- Work daily with children in the service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and families.
- Minimum of one year's experience working with children and families.
- Excellent work ethic and commitment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Job Details:
- Hours of work: 1.30 pm to 5.15 pm (17 hours and 45 minutes per week).
- Service is open from Mondays to Fridays.
- Induction day provided.
- Salary follows current legislation.
- Support and advice offered by the management team.
- 38-week work contract.
