Software Development Engineer in Test, €65,000-€75,000, Dublin Our cutting edge client are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in mobile development and automation testing to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Utilize Appium for mobile test automation. Perform API automation testing using tools and frameworks. Write and maintain scripts in Python and shell for test automation and integration. Use TypeScript, Jest, and Cypress for web application testing. Work in a cloud-based environment, ensuring scalability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and product quality. Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile applications. Proficiency in React and React Native for mobile development. Strong experience with both Android and iOS platforms. Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation. Expertise in API automation testing. Skilled in Python and shell scripting. Familiarity with TypeScript, Jest, and Cypress for front-end testing. Experience working in a cloud-based environment.
