Intellectual Property Secretary/ Administrator Job Description This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our Trade Mark and Patent Departments. Our client is seeking an Intellectual Property Secretary/ Administrator to work closely with our IP Attorneys and administrators at all levels. The successful candidate will provide full secretarial/administrative support to two teams. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide secretarial and administrative support to our IP attorneys, including assistance with case management and patent and trade mark formalities. • Ensure timely responses to patent and trade mark applications and official actions. • Prepare and file patent and design applications online. • Prepare and file trade mark applications online. • Prepare reports for clients and update records management system. • Instruct foreign associates on foreign filing programs. • Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and invoices. • Maintain and organize electronic and physical file systems and diary management. **Requirements:** • 2+ years of secretarial/administrative experience in a professional office environment. • Be highly organized, have excellent attention to detail, and be practical and solution-oriented. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Experience in Adobe Acrobat DC or Nitro PDF is an advantage. • Familiarity with IP case management systems, particularly Pro Delta (Progressor) or similar, is highly regarded. **Company Information:** Our company is a leading provider of intellectual property services.
