Our leading Financial Services client is looking for a Security Architect to join their dedicated team. As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's security architecture. Your primary focus will be to safeguard our financial services infrastructure by identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and developing strategies to protect sensitive data and critical systems. This is a daily rate contract role based in Dublin. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal clients and account managers to ensure that the architecture aligns with business needs. Assume a leadership role in the architecture and design of Information Technology solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements. Create solutions that satisfy both functional and non-functional needs, delivering the expected outcomes as outlined in the project charter. Develop robust and cost-effective designs. Follow company standards for security and data protection, strategies, and methodologies to ensure compliance with Domain and Enterprise architectural requirements, maintaining the quality and consistency of design and implementation. Produce and communicate relevant architectural and design documentation to business and project teams as necessary. Lead the delivery of engagement responses across different lines of business. Contribute to project planning by defining activities, resources, timelines, and cost estimates. Take ownership of the architecture and design of IT solutions, serving as the focal point for resolving technical design issues throughout the project lifecycle. Actively participate in the development of the CTS Architecture practice in Europe through forums and communities of practice. Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of CTSs technical architecture. Stay informed about new technologies and provide leadership and guidance. Experience Required: Extensive experience in a technical role, particularly as a Technical Solutions Specialist for infrastructure. Over 8 years of experience in Information Systems (IS), with a strong track record of delivering infrastructure projects. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team within formal project management methodologies and processes. Demonstrated capability to collaborate with staff at all levels to achieve better design solutions. Experience in design, serving as the technical lead in the delivery of infrastructure solutions, with a history of successful implementations. Possession of an industry-standard security certification, or actively working towards one. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to make sound and timely decisions, influence others, and organize and lead teams as needed. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in producing design documentation and leading technical discussions with project teams. Proficiency in English is required. Broad technical expertise across various Application and Infrastructure disciplines, including Storage, Compute, Security suites, and Networking technologies. Familiarity with key platforms and technologies, including but not limited to: VMware NSX Cisco Datacenter, Campus LAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure Network security stacks (e.g., Micro-segmentation, Firewalling, IPS, Encryption technologies) Competencies: Leadership Communication & Influence Building and Maintaining Relationships Results-Driven Innovation and Adaptability Benefits: Competitive daily rate.
