Seeking a skilled Information Security expert to provide technical security support and monitor, maintain, and improve the Information Security Management System.

Job Description

As a Security Engineer, you will work with the Information Security Manager to provide technical security support and monitor, maintain, and improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

  • Identify, create, document, and support Information Security requirements for the ISMS's information security controls.
  • Identify, maintain, and collect data to support information security-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Review and harden (where appropriate to the risk) the information security architecture and controls of current and future projects.
  • Identify and support the Information Security Architecture knowledge of Azure, M365, Power Platform, and Copilot services.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve the ISMS.
  • Review existing technical policies and procedures and identify changes that could be made.
  • Good knowledge of using Security tools to liaise and support our Security Operating Centre.
  • Review compliance settings of our systems to ensure adherence with ISMS.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Information Security Manager to manage and lead business-as-usual activities and security projects.
  • Explain the purpose of security controls.
  • Support the development/delivery of in-house security awareness training for current and new security tools.

Qualifications

  • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft M365, Power Platform, Copilot, and Azure security.
  • Good understanding of SIEM technology and SOC processes.
  • Good understanding of secure design architecture and principles.
  • Ability to triage security incidents.
  • Ability to carry out technical security audits.
