Job Description

Overview Are you an Information Security expert looking for a new challenge? PM Group are currently looking to appoint a Security Engineer to join our Digital Team in our Cork or Dublin office. The purpose of this role is to work with the Information Security Manager to provide technical security support to monitor, maintain and improve our Information Security Management System which is ISO 27001 certified and provide support to current and future Digital projects. Responsibilities Security Engineer Identify, create, document and support Information Security requirements for the ISMS's information security controls and. Identify, maintain and collect the data to support information security related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Review and harden (where appropriate to the risk) the information security architecture and controls of current and future projects covering existing and future applications, technologies and services. Idenitfy and support the Information Security Architecture knowledge of Azure, M365, Power Platform and Copilot services. Information Security Monitor, maintain and improve our Information Security Management System (ISMS). Review existing technical policies and procedures and identify changes that could be made. Good knowledge of using Security tools to liaise and support our Security Operating Centre. Review compliance settings of our systems to ensure adherence with ISMS. Security Leadership Support the Information Security Manager to manage and lead business as usual activities and security projects. Security Awareness Explain the purpose of security controls. Support the development/delivery of in house security awareness training for current and new security tools. Qualifications Required Good technical knowledge of Microsoft M365, Power Platform, CoPilot and Azure security. Good understanding of SIEM technology and SOC processes. Good understanding of secure design architecture and principles. Ability to triage security incidents. Abiltiy to carry out technical security audits. Preferred ISO 27001 implementation Degree or equivalent in Information Security, Science or Engineering Holds a recognised security certification such as CISSP, CISP or CISA Personal Specification Demonstrate pro-active, personal responsibility and demonstrate ability to operate with autonomy. Strong work ethic. Good communications skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work within a multi-discipline team environment. Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work to strict project deadlines. Flexibility and willingness for limited travel. Strong organisational skills. Ability to plan ahead.
