Job Description
Job Summary: A global Financial Services company in Dublin seeks an experienced Security Engineer to ensure the organisation's security requirements and designs are efficiently managed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expertise, direction, and assistance to deliver automation of security capabilities in CI/CD pipelines, including automation of secrets management and SAST/DAST/SCA security assurance tooling.
Work with development and engineering teams to integrate security technologies, processes, and procedures into automated deployment and validation of solution releases.
Collaborate and communicate across development and engineering teams to improve and simplify delivery and use of security tools and services.
Engage with projects to deliver security automation expertise and project-specific security automation deliverables.
Maintain software version and patch management for security products, including regular software patch updates.
Manage encryption key and certificates for security products.
Administer IDS/IPS and WAF policies/rules, DLP policy/rules, and software licensing and renewal.
Required Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to write clear and concise documentation.
Ability to analyse data and present findings, and communicate information security-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, with ability to cope in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
Excellent team player, with ability to guide and mentor SOC analysts.
