Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's High-profile site in Newcastle.You will be working on a variable shift rota days and nights ,Monday to Sunday, average 56 hours per week working out to 60/60/48 on a 3 week rotation, on a permanent, full-time basis. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Day to day you will be providing an efficient and effective Security Service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the siteManaging the access and egress of the siteRegular site patrols, check calls and logs.Responding to emergency situations in an effective manner What are we looking for from you: SIA License essential.Customer-facing Security Officer experience essentialExperience providing exceptional customer service to customers.High levels of professional Integrity.All successful candidates will need to undergo and pass a National Security Vetting SC (Security Check) which will be completed by the company.First Aid Training will be given and paid for by the company for renewals of SIA LicencesCandidate must complete full BPSS before starting the roll Given the nature of Security Officer roles, some positions may involve working patterns which average more than 48 hours per week. We will always make it clear how many hours per week the role is likely to involve. In the event that an applicant wishes to take on a role where the average weekly working hours may exceed 48 hours per week, they will be made aware of the Working Time Regulations and that they will be required to opt-out of these Regulations by completing the necessary form.
