Role Overview A Security Officers Main Aim is to provide a security presence, to protect life and property from theft, fire, or any other damage. Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities Key Responsibilities: Maintain a security presence at our client site, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and members of the public.Adhere to the Company's policies and procedures, and site Assignment Instructions, when approved and placed on site.Ensure the proper and accurate completion of all reports, records and required documentationCarry out regular patrols to ensure the protection of buildings and property from burglary or damage by fire, water, or the effects of bad weather.Adhere to Company and customer health and safety policies and procedures, particularly in accordance with site risk assessments.To call emergency services as required by Assignment Instructions, and give assistance to the Police where necessaryMonitor CCTV/Lectern where applicableCarry out Arrests as per principals of ASCONERepresent the company in a professional manner and maintain SIA standards in relation to code of conduct.Assist and advise Management of any matters affecting security within the locationUnderstand and carry out conflict resolution as specified by the companyProvide support, guidance and information to all colleagues, customers, and contractors.Any ad hoc duties as may be required by the company About You: Applicants must have the right to work in ROIWill hold, or be willing to obtain SIA Licence (Door Guard)Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsGood communication skills - Fluent in English both written and oralExcellent attention to detailAbility to work with CCTV systemsMust be able to provide clear and a complete work history including referencesExcellent communication and report-writing skills.Ability to work flexible hours as required by the companyGood team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.Ability to follow policy and procedures.
