About the role Title – Security Supervisor Pay Rate –  €33 per hour Location – Dublin, Ireland Shift Timings – full time, 48 hours per week You will be working as a Security Supervisor in a high-profile manufacturing site with subsequent high demands on a consistently high level of service delivery in a very demanding and dynamic environment. For this role, you will be required to manage and motivate a team of security officers and agency officers across the site. The right candidate must be confident in their ability to lead, provide security support and guidance to the General Services Manager. Your main responsibilities may include: To manage on a daily basis the effective operation of the security service on site. Monitor the financial performance of all security contracts, and to conduct the necessary investigations and improvement plans in conjunction with the operational teams. Control of use of third-party officers for cover. To ensure adequate staffing levels across site including relief staff for planned and unplanned cover. To process all holiday requests and cover with trained and competent officers. Managing security staff attendance records including sickness and annual leave. To train newly appointed security officers inline with the client mandatory requirements and site-specific requirements. Maintain standards of discipline and welfare amongst all team mem bers in accordance with the company policies and values To prioritise tasks and respond to ad hoc requests. To complete and submit report forms relating to any accident/incident. To ensure the necessary internal security audits are undertaken and provide a detailed action plan and manage all non-compliance. To succeed in this role, you will need the following: SIA License is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Basic knowledge of computers. 5-year checkable work/career history. Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Possess the ability to work under pressure, prioritising workload and remaining well organised. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service. Good customer service skills The ability to work well as a team, or individually.
