Job Description
Senior Accountant role in Construction sector, Waterford, responsible for managing daily finance function and implementing policies & procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare group monthly accounts
- Manage inter-company transactions and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement financial processes and policies, and provide training to junior staff
- Involved in group budgeting and forecasting
- Manage finance team and ensure compliance with Taxation and Statutory obligations
- Act as point of contact for external auditors and manage year end audit process
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant with experience in industry
- Proficient IT and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active "can do" attitude
- Experience in fast-paced service, construction or engineering environment an advantage
