Senior Accountant role in a growing engineering start-up requiring expertise in finance management, budgeting, and tax planning.
We are seeking a qualified accountant with excellent IT and interpersonal skills to join our finance team and contribute to the company's continued growth and development.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies
- Assist senior management with budgeting, systems development, and tax planning activities across the group
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reconciled accurately and on a timely basis
- Manage inter-company transactions
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
- Ongoing review and improvement of Internal Financial Controls
- Management and development of the finance team
- Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
- Manage Year-end Audit and interaction with auditors
- Other ad hoc duties and projects as required
- Proven experience within a quality well-run business
- Comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business
- Excellent IT and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active and results-driven individual
- Qualified accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles
