Our client, a leading player in its industry, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to work directly with senior leadership on a range of strategic financial initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and timely submission of financial reports in alignment with corporate deadlines. Manage and maintain accurate financial records across key areas, including receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flow. Support group-level financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Conduct reconciliations for critical accounts and lead the financial audit process. Ensure compliance by preparing and submitting required tax filings and financial returns. Continually review and improve financial controls, policies, and processes to drive efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving strategies and process enhancements. Provide additional support on ad-hoc projects as required by leadership. Qualifications: Recognised Accounting qualification - ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA Strong background in accounting, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in managing financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations. Experience with financial systems, particularly in the context of system upgrades or implementations. Proven ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
