Accountant with expertise in financial management and technology
Seeking a qualified Accountant with strong technical skills and experience in financial management to provide accountancy services to clients, drive the firm's accounting technology strategy, and assist with internal admin duties.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and unaudited year-end statutory accounts
- Assisting clients with systems of financial control and company secretarial compliance
- Providing guidance on change management processes and technology adoption for greater efficiencies and growth
- Becoming proficient in various accounting software programs, including Surf, Receipt Bank, Quick Books, Sage, and Xero
- Making qualified recommendations on accounting packages and tools to clients
- Project managing the roll-out of new accounting solutions
- Completing ad-hoc internal admin duties, such as timesheets and invoicing
- Driving the firm's accounting technology strategy to best serve clients
- Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician with minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualified work experience
- Strong technology and management accounts experience
- Working knowledge of accounting software packages, including Relate, Micro Pay, and similar
- Ability to use and implement AI-based accounting software and tools
- Client-oriented with initiative, enthusiasm, and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent organizational skills, time-management, and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion
- Strong technical skills and experience in financial management
