Job Description

A dynamic Senior Administrator Grade 2 role requires a strategic thinker to drive programme management and community impact in Dublin City.

Key responsibilities include: driving a programme and community impact strategy for strengthening service delivery excellence and regularly reviewing structure and composition to achieve it; maintaining positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders and customers; ensuring useful learning from work is collected and disseminated to improve quality and relevance of current and future work; coordinating support and training responsive to sector developments and customer feedback; maintaining and growing a coordinated relationship management approach that results in customer feedback mechanisms from a diverse group of customers and fosters collaboration with customers to increase networking and collaboration; working with the Communications team to develop and deliver key messages about programme and community impact that reflect strategy; ensuring internal and external reporting is carried out in a timely manner, to a high standard and in line with agreed objectives and targets; managing collection of community data and information (storytelling, case studies etc), as well as best practice, to ensure community engagement and partnerships are appropriately aligned, comprehensive, and efficient; coordinating programme teams to help them envision and embed creative methods for achieving effective community impact into the design of programme; monitoring programmes' progress against contracts, organisational goals and objectives, and ensuring they are consistently and adequately met; driving new business development efforts and contributing to organisational development strategies and operational solutioning to deliver outstanding services; analysing data in relation to readiness for change of key stakeholders and providing appropriate support necessary to implement changes, such as training, communications, and consultation; delivering on agreed KPIs and performance metrics are defined, captured, understood, monitored and achieved.

The role also requires: driving a culture of continuous improvement for the teams ensuring that the service model applied is adaptable and meets changing requirements and contexts; delivering technical, financial, operational direction and overseeing programme implementation to ensure on-time delivery of the contract scope of work and seeking opportunities for continual improvement; regularly reviewing feedback at all levels learning from compliments, complaints and appeals with a view to improvement in support of the Service Delivery Improvement Unit; working with other Coordinators and teams to develop and agree service offers and levels of delivery to ensure end to end programme design & implementation.

As a Senior Administrator Grade 2, you will be responsible for managing assigned staff, ensuring they are equipped with a clear understanding of requirements and expectations; are developed, supported, performance managed and valued as employees and as representatives; leading with an agile mind-set, focused on problem solving through creative solutions, and thriving in a fast paced, high growth environment; ensuring good individual and team management structures are in place to support performance/staff management and development (1-2-1's, PEP's, Talentevo, Blended Working Policy, Flexi time and all other relevant HR policies); ensuring that all staff adhere to all standards and procedures; delegating work and ensuring effective relationships in a team-working context; working in collaboration with unit manager to ensure the correct team resources are in the right place, at the right time.

Key skills required include: a minimum of 3-4 years of professional work experience, preferably with strong understanding and experience of local/community development and the social economy; understanding and experience of social inclusion and employment/enterprise; proficiency in MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint portals.
