Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to the Office of the VP Research, including coordinating projects, managing budgets, and developing reports. • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion. • Develop and maintain reports, databases, and other records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with University policies. • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion. • Perform other duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the University. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in administrative roles, ideally in a research or educational setting. • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other productivity software, with ability to learn new systems quickly. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build relationships with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability and flexibility. • Commitment to advancing equality in higher education, with a willingness to contribute to the University's diversity and inclusion initiatives.
