Job Description
Senior AI Scientist role seeks expert in NLP and LLMs to lead design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge solutions for financial services and insurance industry.
We are a multi-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and domain experts creating innovative products that leverage state-of-the-art NLP and LLMs techniques. As a Senior AI Scientist, you will work with us to create solutions that directly make valuable contributions across our organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality and scalable solutions for NLP and LLMs
- Conducting original research and publishing in credible conferences and journals in the field of NLP and LLMs
- Staying abreast of the latest developments and trends in NLP and LLMs and incorporating them into our products and services
- Establishing best practices and standards for NLP and LLMs development and evaluation
- Building links between academia, technology, and third-party industry partners
- Communicating effectively with senior management, clients, and partners to present and explain our solutions and their business value
Requirements include:
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Experience in NLP and LLMs, with a consistent record of publications, patents, or open source contributions in these domains
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in applying NLP and LLMs to various tasks and domains relevant to finance and insurance
- Designing and developing innovative AI model architectures that leverage principles from encoder/decoders, jointly trained models, Siamese-twin models, VAEs, GANs, etc.
- Adapting and debugging ML systems across different environments, interested in all aspects of machine learning, such as parameter efficient adaptation of large language and vision models
- Expertise in Transformers, experience with API wrappers like LangChain and Auto-GPT, experience in evaluating LLMs and prompt engineering, semantic search, and embedding-based fine tuning of NLP models such as those in Sentence Transformers
