Senior Portfolio Underwriting Manager Location: Dublin City Senior Analytical Underwriter wanted for Senior Portfolio Role-Dublin City Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Senior Portfolio Underwriting Manager to join our client, a leading insurance provider. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimise a diverse range of underwriting products, drive profitability, and apply data-driven insights to ensure success across the portfolio. The successful candidate will be technically adept, analytical, and able to manage products independently. Your Role: Oversee the performance of a broad portfolio of underwriting products, introducing and optimising new insurance schemes. Develop and implement pricing strategies based on data analysis, ensuring products remain competitive in the market. Collaborate closely with brokers to design new schemes and ensure alignment with market needs. Monitor portfolio trends and identify risks or opportunities for improvement through detailed data analysis. Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and internal governance standards, maintaining high-quality risk management. Key Requirements: Strong technical and analytical skills, with a proven ability to work with data, particularly through extensive use of Excel. Experience in product and portfolio management, ideally within property and casualty lines of insurance. Ability to develop pricing models and make data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings. Excellent stakeholder management, with experience working closely with brokers and internal teams to launch new products. A problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within a portfolio. Highly adaptable and able to manage multiple products and projects independently.
