Job Description
There are a number of full-time Senior / Associate / Associate Director / Director roles for experienced Fire Engineers at MCD Fire Engineering (Ireland) Ltd. The Fire Engineer will be responsible for performing fire safety strategies, FSC Applications, DAC Applications, BC(A)R related documentation, fire risk assessments, drawings, etc., ensuring life safety regulations and codes are met, developing and implementing fire safety plans, and conducting safety engineering analyses. This is a flexible position, including both WFH and hybrid roles. Qualifications Senior Fire Engineers must have at least 2 years relevant experience in the field of qualification, whilst Associate/Associate Director roles must have at least 5 years and Directors having at least 8-10 years experience. Fire Safety Engineering MSC/BSc Fire and Life Safety Engineering experience in Ireland Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work with complex technical information Knowledge of Irish/UK/EU fire safety regulations and codes Strong experience in inspections, witness testing/commissioning and verification of fire safety strategy implementation and associated documentation Have or capable of achieving accreditation/registration as a Chartered Engineer / Assigned Certifier Job Type: Full-time Pay: €80,000.00-€120,000.00 per year Additional Pay Bonus pay Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Yearly bonus Benefits Additional leave Company pension Private medical insurance Profit sharing Work from home Schedule Monday to Friday Experience FSC: 2 years (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Claremont Avenue, Glasnevin, CO.
