Job Title: Android Engineer Our team is seeking an experienced Android developer to join our Dublin Tech Hub and contribute to the growth of our fashion store. Summary: We're looking for a skilled Android Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable and compliant serving capabilities for our internal stakeholders, with a focus on delivering a personalized and inspirational fashion experience for our customers. As a key member of our agile cross-functional team, you will be responsible for: • Building solutions to configure and identify locally relevant assortment for our customers • Communicating with stakeholders to understand business context and translate requirements into technical designs • Developing robust, performant, and maintainable code using Android SDK, App Architecture, and Kotlin • Collaborating with Product Management and other teams to refine functional requirements and build • Driving technical discussions and facilitating complex decision-making Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in Android development • Strong understanding of Android SDK, App Architecture, and Kotlin • Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Rx Java, Coroutines, and functional programming concepts • Experience with full-stack engineering and research • Strong ownership and communication skills • Ability to work in a high-performance team and independently drive technical discussions Benefits: • 40% off products sold and shipped by Zalando • 2 paid volunteering days a year • Hybrid working model with 60% remote per week • Work from abroad for up to 30 working days a year • 27 days of vacation a year • Relocation assistance available • Family services, including counselling and support • Health and wellbeing options • Mental health support and coaching available
