Job Description
As a Sr Android Engineer, you'll deliver impact to 51 million Zalando customers in 25 countries, building scalable and compliant serving capabilities and personalization components for our Fashion Store. You'll be part of an agile cross-functional team, working on new emerging businesses and challenging problems for the fashion industry.
**Key Responsibilities:*** Build solutions for Zalando's Android and iOS applications with your team
* Communicate with stakeholders to understand business context and translate requirements into technical designs
* Develop robust, performant, and maintainable code using your Android experience and skill set
* Share and develop expertise with your team to deliver the best user experience
* Assess technical and computational complexity based on requirements and data volumes
**Requirements:*** 5+ years of experience as an Android developer
* Deep understanding of the Android SDK and App Architecture
* Familiarity with Jetpack compose, Rx Java, Coroutines, and functional programming concepts of Kotlin
* Strong sense of ownership for work, writing well-structured, readable, and maintainable code
* Experience working in high-performance teams and driving technical discussions
* Effective communication in English and collaboration with different teams
