Job Description

Main ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure and maintain Retail application environmentsUpgrade and patch application environments and their technology stacksDebug issues related to application configuration and technology stacksCreate and maintain ad hoc productivity and automation scriptsTriage hardware, operating system and related issuesAssist development and QA teams in identifying and solving application and performance issuesPublish and maintain documentation on web pages related to services offeredOperate independently and as part of a team including remote team members and multiple stakeholdersParticipate in rotational support that includes on call support for non-business hoursProvide customer support during their implementation cycle and post go liveRelevant Experience and TrainingExperience with the troubleshooting and supporting Retail applications including Omnichannel (Order Management, Order Broker, Customer Engagement, etc.) and/or Merchandising (RMS, ReSA, RPM, ReIM, Allocation), Planning, etc. will be a significant plusExperience or familiarity with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Google Cloud, AzureExtensive experience in implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Applications using WebLogic Server 8.1/9.x/10.x, LDAP, Deployment tools, Monitoring tools on UNIX (Solaris/Linux) and Windows environmentsProficient in handling all the aspects of Installation, Configuration, Clustering, Deploying Applications, Load Balancing, Performance Tuning WebLogic Server & SOA issues in production, and testing environment8 plus years of experience in IT industry in analysis, design, support and maintenance of large client-server and web-based applications in which 6 years of experience in Oracle WebLogic SupportExpertise in WebLogic Application Server Administration including installing, configuring, migrating, load balancing, deploying applications, performance tuning, capacity planning, upgrading, and maintenance of WebLogic ServersSolid experience in administration of WebLogic servers on Linux or WindowsExpertise and/or working knowledge of Cloud Native Environment (CNE) Administration including but not limited to Kubernetes, Docker or equivalent along with Automation technologies such as Chef and PuppetExperience and general understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably in Retail IndustryStrong knowledge in various WebLogic sub-systems like clustering, JDBC, JMS, SSL, RMI/EJB objects, etc.Oracle database experience including SQL, PL/SQL and performance analysis and remediationExcellent skills with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell scriptingExcellent English written and oral communication skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or any STEM field5-8 years of previous System Administration or related experience on WebLogic, Linux and/or one of the popular Unix OS flavors (Sun Solaris, HP-UX, AIX)Career Level - IC3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
