This permanent role involves managing a portfolio of customers within the Credit Policy framework of the Bank, developing junior staff members, and reviewing financial information to identify key risks and mitigants.
About the Role:
- Proactively manage an existing portfolio of customers within the Credit Policy framework of the Bank
- Manage and develop more junior staff members
- Write credit papers for annual reviews and transaction amendments
- Monitor Covenant compliance and review ongoing financial and non-financial information provided
- Review financial statements and financial models to provide clear analysis of key risks and mitigants
- Review legal documents, technical reports, and construction/operational updates from customers or advisors
- Enhance relationships with new and existing customers through good communication and customer focus
- Ensure compliance and administration obligations are satisfied to a high degree
- Form an integral part of the risk management culture in the Bank and adhere to codes of conduct, laws, and regulations
- Collaborate with other parts of the Bank, including Treasury and Operations Teams
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience within a similar area, including Banking, Advisory, or Industry
- Strong financial analysis, strong credit skills, and proficiency in financial modelling
- Analytical mindset and results-focused
- Team player with strong communication and influencing skills
