Role Description:
- Lead and assist in forensic investigations and identification of defects in drug product manufacture.
- Maintain, distribute, and upkeep extensive defect panels used for equipment setup, training, and characterization.
- Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of a GMP laboratory environment.
- Provide process development expertise for commercial drug product particle and defect identification.
- Perform experiments, organize data, and analyze results to evaluate product impact due to process variables.
- Manage and maintain inspection defect panels and sets.
- Execute Knapp studies and analyze data.
- Establish experimental design, develop protocols, and communicate results to cross-functional groups.
- Ensure laboratory activities adhere to safety and quality policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in commercial protein drug product processing, including sterile processing, process characterization, inspection, and tech transfer.
- Familiarity with advanced microscopy and spectroscopy techniques.
