Job Description

Senior Associate Scientist (Shift) role in Dublin for a Pharmaceutical organization.

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead forensic investigations, maintain defect panels, and contribute to a GMP laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead forensic investigations and write up reports to c GMP standards.
  • Maintain, distribute, and upkeep extensive defect panels for automated/semi-automated/manual finished drug product visual inspection equipment.
  • Contribute to upkeep/maintenance of a GMP laboratory environment as part of the PD laboratory team.
  • Provide process development expertise for commercial drug product particle/defect identification and contribute to particle/defect libraries.
  • Perform experiments, organize data, and analyze results to evaluate product impact due to process variables.
  • Creation, management, and maintenance of inspection defect panels/sets.
  • Execution of Knapp studies and data analysis.
  • Establish experimental design, develop and implement protocols, and communicate data to cross-functional groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in support of Commercial Protein Drug Product (DP) processing.
  • Familiarity with advanced microscopy (scanning electron microscopy) and spectroscopy (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy).
