Senior Audit Manager

BDO Ireland is seeking an ambitious and high-achieving Senior Manager to join its progressive and forward-thinking Audit Department.

About the Role

  • Manage client expectations and be the point-of-contact for clients, working closely with Financial Controller/Director or Senior Executive levels.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients of variable sizes across Construction and Real Estate sectors.
  • Manage the international reporting process both to Group Auditors and from Component Auditors.
  • Coordinate and project manage the allocation of staff resources to jobs.
  • Lead teams on the planning, execution, and completion of audits.
  • Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients.
  • Report directly to partner/director on engagements.
  • Assist with managing the team's financial performance.

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualification with 3+ years PQE.
  • Strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of the ISAs and accounting standards FRS 100 to FRS 102 and IFRS.
  • Proven management skills and behaviours.
  • A strong market/commercial awareness.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
