Senior Audit Manager
BDO Ireland is seeking an ambitious and high-achieving Senior Manager to join its progressive and forward-thinking Audit Department.
About the Role
- Manage client expectations and be the point-of-contact for clients, working closely with Financial Controller/Director or Senior Executive levels.
- Manage a portfolio of clients of variable sizes across Construction and Real Estate sectors.
- Manage the international reporting process both to Group Auditors and from Component Auditors.
- Coordinate and project manage the allocation of staff resources to jobs.
- Lead teams on the planning, execution, and completion of audits.
- Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients.
- Report directly to partner/director on engagements.
- Assist with managing the team's financial performance.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualification with 3+ years PQE.
- Strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of the ISAs and accounting standards FRS 100 to FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Proven management skills and behaviours.
- A strong market/commercial awareness.
