Team/Role Overview Citi's Internal Audit (IA) division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and Citi’s numerous regulators globally. IA is a change agent within Citi to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the globe. In this role, the candidate will support the Enterprise Risk Management IA team. This team provides a comprehensive program of audit coverage for Enterprise Risk Management, including key areas such as Risk Identification, Risk Appetite, Concentration Risk Management, and New Product Approval, among others. What you’ll do Perform moderately complex audits including drafting audit reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope Develop effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets. What we’ll need from you Previous experience within similar role in Financial Services Risk Management / Risk Advisory exposure Preferably Internal Audit background External Audit experience also considered if covered Risk Advisory.
