STEM Recruitment Partners are working with a large pharmaceutical company based in Athlone that is seekingan experienced Automation Engineerto join their operations on a long-term contractual basis. This is a 12-month contract role with very strong likelihood of contract extension. €50-58/hour DOE The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions in compliance with GMP standards. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the successful execution of automation projects, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on Siemens PLC/SCADA technology. Proven experience in the design and implementation of automation solutions within a GMP environment. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards associated with GMP manufacturing. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
