Bristol Myers Squibb Ireland Bristol Myers Squibb has been in operation in Ireland since 1964, employing over 650 people across a range of activities and business units Located in Dublin, Cruiserath Biologics Campus, a one billion Multi-Product Cell Culture Biologics Manufacturing facility plays a central role in the Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) network as the companys first European biologics manufacturing facility. This state of the art facility will produce multiple therapies for the companys growing biologics portfolio. Global Biologics Laboratory (GBL) responsible for the release testing of Biologics Drug product for the network, is also based on the Cruiserath Biologics Campus. Position Summary The Digital Plant Automation Engineer is responsible for delivery and continued reliable and robust operation of OEM (PLC/SCADA) and DCS (DeltaV) system technical design to meet business and process requirements. The Engineer is responsible for project delivery and support for sustaining operations in Cruiserath. The Automation Engineer will lead a highly skilled technical team for Project and Sustaining to deliver the business needs. Key Responsibilities Promotes a safe and compliant environment and mindset. Engaging members of the site and campus leadership teams. People leadership responsibilities for Digital Plant Technical professionals and contractors. Leads the digital evolution of the OEM/DCS workstream. Ensure continued operation of systems in compliance with BMS Policies and Regulatory requirements. Application delivery and support of digital capabilities on of DCS and OEM Application and infrastructure process support of digital capabilities on the campus. These processes include: Site quality management systems (i.e. change control, deviation and risk management, etc.). Computer systems validation. System qualification. Service management and integration (i.e. incident, problem, deviations, requests, etc.). Continuous improvement. Required Competencies Knowledge of PLC/SCADA (Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, IFIX, SQL). Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies. Proven skills in management, systems development and implementation of manufacturing, quality, development related systems. Knowledge of DeltaV desirable but not essential. Thorough knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and reading). Experience working in a Pharmaceutical GMP validated environment. Proven skills in project delivery and validation of manufacturing and quality related systems. Required Qualification(s) and Desired Experience Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences. Minimum of 3 years in Automation positions post graduate.
