Experienced Automation Engineer sought for 12-month contract role with strong likelihood of extension, designing and implementing automation solutions in compliance with GMP standards.
STEM Recruitment Partners are working with a large pharmaceutical company based in Athlone to find a skilled Automation Engineer to join their operations on a long-term contractual basis.
This is a 12-month contract role with very strong likelihood of contract extension.
€50-58/hour DOE
The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions in compliance with GMP standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the successful execution of automation projects, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions in compliance with GMP standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on Siemens PLC/SCADA technology.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of automation solutions within a GMP environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards associated with GMP manufacturing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
