We have multiple projects that we support, and we are looking to add to our team, we are interested in talking to you if you fit the criteria outlined below: Senior Automation Engineer The ideal candidate for the position of Senior Automation Engineer must possess exceptional automation skills with a proven track record of managing projects effectively. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of process development for new products and the ability to leverage this expertise to design and engineer high-volume manufacturing equipment. As a crucial member of the team, the Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in implementing automation solutions across existing and upcoming manufacturing lines, thereby enhancing productivity and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product engineers to develop in-house processes or engage external resources for cost-effective manufacturability. Lead and mentor engineers to ensure successful completion of automation projects meeting standards and regulations. Manage projects with subcontractors for high-volume manufacturing equipment development, overseeing all aspects including quoting, reviews, budgeting, timeline, installation, qualification, and business rewards. Supervise internal product delivery covering planning, design, Bill of Materials (BOM), reviews, and cross-platform testing. Evaluate current manufacturing processes for automation potential. Conduct testing and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment. Review automation designs to ensure compliance with PFMEA and other requirements. Assist in diagnosing and resolving product configuration issues in production environments. Education & Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Automation, Process Control, Computer Science, or Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering 5+ years' professional experience Excellent automation skills with project management experience. High-level understanding of new product process development for designing and developing high-volume manufacturing equipment. Ability to implement automation solutions across existing and new manufacturing lines to enhance productivity and efficiency Automation and/or tooling design using CREO / Solid Works Software Knowledge of HMI /PLC/ SCADA systems is a plus Knowledge of Servo motor and Motion Control Knowledge of Ethernet networking and fieldbus systems Able to communicate with customers at all levels Previous experience managing a project, cross-functionally We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and innovative work environment.
