Expansion team seeks a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to ongoing success in special purpose machine building, filling, and packaging.
Responsibilities
- Design complex automation equipment
- Present designs to customers and management
- Research and implement new technologies
- Support machine build team during build and debug
- Liaise with project team members
- Ensure timelines and targets are achieved
Key Skills
- Strong experience in 3D CAD modelling (Solidworks preferred)
- Ability to create innovative concept proposals
- Track record in designing mechanisms and integrating technologies
- Ability to size mechanical systems for equipment life cycle
- Clear understanding of safety requirements
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills
