Senior Automation Test Analyst

Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join this highly established national stockbroker as their Senior Automation Test Analyst.

Role Overview:

• Join the Information Systems department as a Senior Automation Test Analyst.
• Key responsibilities include defining and refining acceptance criteria, creating automated test cases, and BDD scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine acceptance criteria for User Stories.
• Create and implement automation frameworks.
• Automate testing types: Performance, Integration, Load, REST, Black/White Box Testing.
• Use scripting/programming languages like Python and Java.
• Leverage Linux/Unix knowledge for testing tasks.
• Identify new automation solutions.
• Track and manage issues from testing and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extract test data and execute SQL statements to validate results.

Tools & Technologies

• JIRA, TestRail, JMeter, SQL, Selenium, RFT.
• Testing frameworks like Rest Assured and Selenium.
• Version control using GIT.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structured financial testing.
• Strong experience in financial or stockbroking systems testing.
• Proficient in SQL, essential for the role.
• Experience with various testing tools and conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
• Selfstarter with the ability to work independently.
• ISTQB Certification is advantageous.
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
