Senior AWS Data Engineer Career Progression Senior AWS Data Engineer opportunity for an ambitious AWS Data Engineer who wants to join a well known Global organisation that are a household name, and growing their Dublin team. Dublin is an essential hub for their Technology function, with an experienced, high caliber team. You will be involved in design development and implementation of their AWS products to production globally. As a Senior AWS Data Engineer, you focus will be extremely technically focused on AWS technologies. You will join a cross functional team of 10 experienced engineers and developers on the risk team in maintaining and advancing their technology platform, designing ETL pipelines & Data Lake. You will also be invovled in implimenting a new Data Lake tool called Dremio which is new to the Irish market. The tech stack includes Python, Kafka, Lambda, Step Functions, AWS, S3, Glue, Kensis and big data tools such as Databricks/Spark/PySpark. With a new merger complete and a data driven CTO, they are pushing on new and advanced technology. The ideal individual will be creative and innovative and want to be heard. They love to hear new opinions. This individual will be key in their growth with a guarantee to progress to a squad lead. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years experience in a Data Engineering role (with strong Python & AWS skills), a passion for learning new technology and looking for an opportunity to take their career to the next level.
