Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team, driving the development of our Intelligence Platform, a cutting-edge operating system used by over 2000 teams worldwide.

Our Intelligence Platform is an advanced operating system used by top sports leagues and teams, handling massive amounts of data to provide cutting-edge insights and solutions. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building the core data-flows of our products, focusing on security, privacy, robustness, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and data-stores
- Ensure high standards of software quality, including effective QA processes, writing high-quality code, and adhering to industry standards
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to build user-centric features
- Work with the product team to refine user stories and deliver them to production
- Debug complex production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Set technical direction and make pragmatic decisions to redirect or scale back projects
Requirements:
- Experience building APIs or dynamic web applications
- Ability to take on new technologies and languages
- Proficiency in Ruby or willingness to learn
- High standards and pride in delivering projects to completion
- Value in standardized, fully tested code in a CI/CD environment
