**Business Analyst Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team, with a strong background in financial services and experience in process improvement, requirements elicitation, and project management.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Engage with business users to understand problem statements and agree on engagement scope
* Develop customer-driven process improvements through interviews with product owners and analysis of business processes
* Document process models and identify opportunities for improvement
* Map customer experiences using tools like personas and customer journeys
* Gather and analyze statistical data to support business cases for change
* Research and analyze best-in-class industry processes to support digitization and simplification of customer journeys
* Support business planning and design of digital strategies to encourage customer retention and loyalty
* Bring industry experience and thought leadership to advise on trends, future operating models, and best-in-class journeys
* Develop a deep understanding of business context and marketplace
* Employ process modeling techniques to capture requirements
* Work with product owners and development teams to deliver process improvements
**Requirements:**
* 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services, ideally in the credit area
* Design thinking, ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, and communicate clearly
* Experience in documenting business cases, business process modeling, and requirement elicitation
* Project management skills, including managing projects from inception to delivery
* IT background with a solid grounding in technology
* Experience working in Agile and Waterfall SDLCs
* Strong communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills
