Job Description
Senior Business Analyst sought for leading Dublin city-centre client, working on Insurance/Reinsurance projects, organisational change, business transformation and data analytics.
Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, the Senior Business Analyst will join the existing IT Applications team responsible for delivering business and data related projects across the client's group of companies.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Business Analysis experience in the financial services space, with strong presentation skills and experience with software development and/or data analytical projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Expertise in eliciting requirements and transforming them into clear documented requirements for business and technical resources.
- Change Management - understanding the impacts of change on stakeholders.
- Leveraging experience to ensure the right communication, planning and training/engagement is in place for successful change.
- Relationship Management - interacting with stakeholders at all levels and capabilities.
- Working with process owners, developers and PMs on IT projects to understand and enhance current systems and processes.
- Quality & Delivery - ensuring the final output meets business expectations.
Qualifications and experience:
- 3rd Level Qualification.
- 6+ years Business Analysis experience in the financial services space.
- Solid BA experience on software development and/or data analytical projects.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Insurance/Reinsurance/IFRS17 experience.
- Stamp 4 Visa or EU Passport essential.
- Excellent MS Office experience.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
