As Senior Business Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact between our team of developers and business stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to define business opportunities, gather requirements, interact with stakeholders and design & document processes that will be improved through RPA, workflow automation, and data solutions. This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity. The Operational Transformation team designs, delivers, and operates digital solutions to drive efficiency and reduce cost and risk across the organisation. You will join a team of dedicated professionals which like to build bespoke solution through a series of best practices and methodologies. Responsibilities: Design & Documentation Work closely with business stakeholders to build a fundamental understanding of team-level objectives and processes. Be able to explain a process simply and concisely while understanding the complexity and challenges both from the business stakeholders perspective and as an opportunity for improvement. Build a business case to assess the viability of a process for automation (workflow and RPA). Document As-Is process flows and all relevant data for Automation. Design the high-level outline of the To-Be process. Prepare detailed process maps (including all business scenarios) using process mapping tools like BPMN, validate them with the process owner and update the process steps as required. Capture process metrics (scope, application involved, no. FTEs, volumes, AHTs, SLAs, Time dependencies, challenges, complexity, stakeholders involved and their role) Analyse Business Requirements and translate them into Technical Requirements and User Stories for our Team of Developers. Work with the Developers to ensure Business Requirements are satisfied where possible and negotiate with Business Stakeholders where not possible. Ensure sign-off on solution design from relevant business, functional & infrastructure stakeholders. Complete detailed Risk Analysis and Business Readiness documentation, ensuring a smooth delivery. Deliveries and Methodology Work efficiently and quickly to turn around business requirements. Support the adoption and development of the Automation Technology Stack (Blue Prism and BAW) Framework to ensure that best-in-class methodologies, standards, and practices are embedded in the organisation. Support and oversee the User Acceptance and rollout phases of project delivery. Review test scripts and scenarios. Review and maintain solution documents Mentoring & Coaching Provide leadership, guidance and support to junior team members and the wider team. Provide support and insight to junior team members; helping define process steps, risks, and challenges that might arise. Assist in the definition of project scope, requirements and objectives involving all relevant partners, ensuring technical feasibility. Provide advice and guidance on methodology and analysis techniques. Requirements: Essential: 2 years documenting and implementing automations (Workflow, RPA, and/or data). Ability a to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the IBM Business Automation Workflow Product. Experience of process mapping and process re-engineering. Experience in Agile methodologies and desired certification in Lean Six Sigma. Understanding of Business Requirement Documents and Technical Design Documents in the Workflow Automation space. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood documentation facing Business Stakeholders and Developers. Experience of analysis and design of business processes Capacity to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks. Good understanding of programming concepts. Highly PC literate with solid skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and process mapping tools. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in PTSB's St. Stephens Green Dublin. (Hybrid option available within the Republic of Ireland.) Is this you?
