Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Dublin 1, Hybrid 50% Contract / Permanent: 6 Months, With further extension Start date: 14th of October 2024 (subject to the on-boarding and Garda vetting process) Experience Level Required: It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of 7+ years of experience in a similar role. It is also a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed holds the following qualifications or equivalents: Candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree qualification. Key Deliverables: Run user workshops to uncover real user needs in the domain that the product team is focused on. Create user personas and user journeys to document the user needs. Translate the unmet needs that have been identified into product backlog items. Liaise with business and IT stakeholders to build a product vision and product roadmap. Define a prioritisation framework to allow the most valuable work to be identified for the team. Create a framework of regular meetings, templates and other activities that define the role of product manager and can be handed over to a designated Client staff member when the term of engagement has completed. Coach and mentor the designated staff member over the course of the contract so that they are able to take over the work seamlessly at the end of the contract. Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets: Strong background working in an agile product team in a product management or product owner role. Ability to think strategically and to communicate a strategic product vision to others. Experience building and maintaining user personas and product roadmaps. Experience running design thinking workshops to define user problems and generate innovative potential solutions. Experience defining and conducting user research.
