Aon’s Centres for Innovation and Analytics are the cornerstone of Aon’s $350M global investment in analytics, delivering data-driven insights to clients by leveraging our unmatched data capabilities across both risk and people solutions. Established in 2009, the Dublin Centre is comprised of over 100 colleagues analysing millions of data points captured in Aon’s Global Risk Insights Platform (GRIP) to provide impactful market insights and reports. We transform data received directly from Brokers and other sources into actionable analytics. What the day will look like The successful applicant will be based in Dublin, as an extension of the Growth Analytics team based in Singapore, a dynamic and high-energy team, delivering data-driven insights to our leaders to drive performance and support strategic decision making. This role extends beyond analytics and requires strategic collaboration with teams such as sales, product, technology, finance, and more. Responsibilities: Partner with countries on delivery of analytical insights and embedment of the team’s suite of products. Work with cross-functional teams to source large data sets, review and address data quality challenges, reconcile reports, apply business logic and analyse to validate results effectively and provide insightful analyses. Management of initiatives to ensure delivery within timelines. Work with local, regional and global teams to implement recommendations towards a positive and balanced outcomes. Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with diverse teams to achieve collective goals and drive organizational success. Manage and influence stakeholders’ expectations and decisions, and drive effective change management. Articulate sophisticated concepts clearly to support senior management in data-driven decision-making. Support in conceptualizing solutions, rolling out and testing products. Collect end-user requests and translate them into business requirements for our development group. Skills and experience that will lead to success: Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance or analytical-related fields and minimum 4-6 years of working experience in related areas. Seeks to grow into a business analytics consultant; this is not under a career track of a data scientist. Have experience in managing senior stakeholders and/or business partnering. Team player, analytical, problem-solving, critical and innovative thinking skills. High-level written and verbal communication and presentations skills. Able to multi-task, self-disciplined, organized, diligent, with good prioritization skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Power Automate and PowerBI. Proficiency in SQL/VBA.
